19th Annual Nursing Summit

“Aging in Maine: Best Practices and Nursing Leadership”

Dear Colleagues,

The OMNE Nursing Summit will be held Wednesday March 11, 2020 at the Augusta Civic Center. This event is an excellent opportunity to showcase your approach to contemporary issues. Your colleagues across the state are anxious to learn of potentially replicable strategies. Your work may be early in design, pilot phase, or full implementation.

This Summit is focused on efforts across the state that is addressing issues such as workforce development, healthy work environments, and academic: practice and partnerships, team engagement, recruitment and retention, or innovation in team composition. The Summit planning Committee extends an invitation to all who are interested in sharing their work. We are very grateful to all of those willing to share their work.

Posters can be on any topic relevant to nursing. We do request that someone attend the poster during breaks and be available for discussion with those at the conference. A table top will be provided for you, but you must have either a free-standing poster or provide an easel or holder for your poster (one will not be provided for you).

Please send your submissions to Stephanie Budreau ([email protected]) and include your name, email address/contact information and title of your presentation. If you would be interested in further presenting your work at a future OMNE business meeting educational session, please indicate so in the email and someone from OMNE will contact you. Submissions should be received by February 27, 2020.

Sincerely,
Andrew Gagnon
OMNE President
